Female-Fronted Rock - that are NICKY GRONEWOLD (voc), ANKE?Basspüppi" DOERNBERG (bass), CHRISTOS MAMALITSIDIS (git) and FELIX ZANDER (dr) - better knowen as NIKKI PUPPET. Their style is just pure rock with Trash-Pop-Elements, with a singer you just can´t get a rid of: charismatic vocals, polished, authenticated songwriting, razorsharp solos and heavy riffs!
?TO BE YOURSELF" is their brandnew album, produced by ACE, Producer and guitar player for his well-known international famous band SKUNK ANANSIE. Co-Producer Willi Dammeier was the owner of the Studio Institut für Wohlklangforschung, Hannover, Germany. 12 brandnew Songs were recorded, Mixed and Pre-Mastered there, where you can listen development of the Band: They based truely on their own powerfull style but went one step further: Poppy Elements influenced the new Rock Songs and make their style much more interesting for Rock- und Pop-Fans!
The History: After their highly praised debut ?PUPPET ON A STRING" (Nov. 2005) one year later they released their second CD ?MILITANT MOTHER" (Feb. 2007) both CD´s were produced by HERMAN FRANK in the Recordingstudio "Arena 20" in Hannover, Germany, just like their 3rd album ?POWER SEEKER". He is producer since years and succesfull guitarplayer for Bands like VICTORY and ACCEPT.
Support-Tours for the MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, VICTORY, MOB RULES, ROSE TATTOO and JANE leaded the band succesfull through whole Europa, they also played big festivals in germany like WACKEN OPEN AIR, ROCK HARZ and JOCH'N'ROLL FESTIVAL.
